We are in search of real people for a variety of roles for VR teacher training videos. Applicants must be in the greater Vancouver and or sea to sky area.
Wind Sun Sky and Langara College are creating live-action 360° video scenes featured in Langara’s VR training modules. These scenes provide emotional context for animated child characters and are part of educational simulations for early childhood education students. Performances should be natural, intimate, and emotionally authentic. Each actor will portray a parent or caregiver sharing a personal, heartfelt story. The tone should be gentle, sincere, and conversational like speaking to a trusted educator or close family member.

$1000 per person
USAGE: In perpetuity.
The performances will appear in educational content developed by Langara College in partnership with Wind Sun Sky Entertainment. The material is primarily used within the Langara Early Childhood Education VR training program, accessed by instructors and students through secure educational platforms and VR headsets.
ROLES: *non-union
We are looking for real people that embody the energy of the characters. The project does not call for performative acting or exaggerated acting.
1) Female age 30 – 40 “Vulnerable, relatable, honest, unpolished, real ” to portray a parent
2) Male age 35 – 50 “Warm, steady, proud” to portray a foster parent
3) Female age 35 – 50 Indigenous applicants for this role only please “calm, grounded, emotional, reflective” to portray a caregiver

If you work in child care, as a teacher, community programming, and/or are a guardian then you should apply to the project!
