We are looking for a TRIO of authentic and experienced hikers/outdoors ppl/mountain enthused people!
TRIO meaning natural friends or a couple+friend.
The project is a week long trip in Northern BC authentically experiencing the beautiful mountains and nature with a film/video/production crew.
Applicants must be comfortable with the following:
- float planes / helicopters / side x sides / boats / canoes
- cold water / able to cold plunge if needed
- austere environments / backcountry / bear country (production will have guides + protection)
- potentially cold alpine environment at low light
- early a.m. and shoot late into the night to capture the best light
Some of the scenes might include:
- Hiking, cresting / scrambling over rock/boulder field (no rope work)
- Cold water lake plunge/Canoeing / camping scenes
- Float Plane / Flight seeing
TYPE & USAGE:
Unlimited global photo library shoot. Worldwide unlimited time and unlimited media including 3rd party usage rights for direct tourism promotion. Includes but not limited to: all print/magazines/all collateral/trade/electronic/digital /DM/Outdoor and using still images in OLVs/gifs.
Due to the nature of the assets distribution the client needs the usage to be in perpetuity regardless of the fact that they might only cycle the images as feature images for only a certain number of years.
RATES:
$4000 project fee per person – flights, lodging, food paid for by client
* hotels for sleeping * each talent has their own room * 3 meals a day
TALENT LOCATION SPECIFICS:
Talent can be from anywhere in coastal bc or prince george.

AUG 30 casting launch
SEPT 3 8am submission deadline
SEPT 4 8am casting presented — SEPT 9 casting awarded
SEP 10 wardrobe comms
SEPT 15 depart
SEPT 23 return

We need folks to apply to the form as a TRIO and attach photos of the group to the form
Videos + digis need to be sent individually.

This is NOT an acting role so DO NOT act in this video. There are no speaking parts in this shoot, they just want to see your general vibe to assess how you will work with the group for a week 🙂

CONFLICTS:
Please identify on the application form if you have worked with a travel bc, another tourism canada co in the past, or if anything is actively out at the moment.
WARDROBE: fee $100 pp
Talents own wardrobe will be used for the shoot/project, in addition to some potential add ons. Wardrobe logistics will be coordinated w/o 9th. Tbd on gear/props.
